Yelken Octuri’s yacht looks pretty much like any standard yacht.
Two main decks house a living room and kitchen on the lower and three bedrooms and a luxurious bathroom on top.
At the touch of a button though, the sails hide away neatly into the masts as they are lowered by a double jack system.
Voila. Soon, you and your stinkin’ rich friends will be off and flying in no time.
As crazy as it sounds, it’s an interesting idea from the French cabin designer for Airbus. I’m sure there are plenty of people out there who would enjoy the convenience of the speed which air travel would provide combined with the comfort and luxury of their own yacht at their destination. [via]
