NIGO® – A Visit To The Treasury
from Silly Thing.
obscura-mag.com took a rare glimpse into Nigo’s personal collection of.. many things. Nigo is sort of a big deal within international pop culture, founding streetwear label Bape and Human Made.
I’ve been battling the compulsory want to collect things for most of my life, and sometimes I lose. I can’t help but think I’d probably do the same thing if I were in his shoes and had a fortune at my disposal.
Built as a marketing exercise, the Cage-Six takes the standard XJ-6 into stuntin’ territory with trellis stunt bars and a car-sized rear tire.

If Instagramming and the like is your thing, then this is the camera for you. The Autographer is touted as “the world’s first intelligent, wearable camera.”
The Autographer uses 5 different sensors (ambient light / accelerometer / magnetometer / PIR / temperature) as well as a GPS and a special algorithm developed by the Oxford Metrics Group (OMG) to determine when to snap pictures in your exciting life. Using a glass hybrid wide angle precision optic with a 136º field of view, the 5mp camera takes photos and records them onto its 8gb internal memory.
The original intent of this invention was to serve as a memory aid for people affected with dementia.
Better than tattooing yourself, I think.
Somewhere along the way, OMG realized people were using this device to record on special occasions, trips, and even casually.
It’s a great idea, considering its diminutive size allows it to be clipped on to a shirt collar, worn around your neck, or just placed inconspicuously somewhere. Unfortunately, it costs $650. So that pretty much takes it from “useful device” to “expensive toy.” What a shame.
