Barrett-Jackson auctioned off the rights to purchase the first production 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray for $1.1 MILLION. I’ll let that sink into our head for a bit. The lucky bidder is Rick Hendricks of Hendrick Motorsports.
At least it’s all for a good cause; 100% of proceeds benefited College for Creative Studies.
I’m really digging the new Vette. I can’t hide that I kind of wanted it to be mid-engined, but it still turned out looking great (Ferrari-esque). Bring on the ZR1 !
