Springtime means freaking allergies! F**K!

Ken Block, famous for crazy stunt jumps and reigning over the X-Games, being a multiple Rally America champion and founding DC Shoes, has come out with yet another crazy vehicle that’s even more astounding than his matte-black 575 hp Brabus CLS55 AMG.

What could possibly be more insane than that?

We fly high, no lie, you know this..

Not quite.. it’s actually this.

That driveby shows Ken Block’s rally Subaru on tank treads. What the heck is he thinking.. drifting on treads!? Awesome.  No terrain is too wild for drifting now.

Speaking of shocking cars, Nigo of BAPE fame has released pics of his most recently-acquired ride, a Mercedes 300SL gullwing updated by AMG themselves with a 6.0L V8. Of course, he had to add his personal touch.

The nicest thing I can say about this car is that it is unusual, much like the other extremely expensive cars he’s “touched.”

At least these aren’t real paintjobs; they’re only vinyl wraps.

I went to watch Fast and Furious 4 last night, which started off great and then got slower until it ended with a quiet kaput. Apparently, the movie begins before Tokyo Drift and 5 years after the original movie. It focuses mainly on classic American muscle this time, with an R34 Skyline GTR and the latest Subaru WRX STI making a stand for Japanese imports. I found it really annoying in the movie theater when some lady sitting in front of me would shout “Buy American!” everytime an American car would show up. But anyways, I found that this time around they focused more on trying to develop an actual plot rather than hopping from one race scene to another. Of course, there were the hilarious one-liners and some funny moments, but in the end it was just an okay movie, exactly as how I’d thought it would be.

An ode to the original movie:

Yes, it does fit under the truck, and no, the trailer isn't raised.

Amazing.

When the going gets rough in close-quarter combat, you want a shotgun on your side. Ol’ faithful to policemen the world over, the shotgun is the ultimate in intimidation; the butt-cheek clencher. Now, there’s something even more terrifying: the Atchinson Assault Shotgun, or AA-12 for short. With an ammunition drum that gives it the silhouette of a classic gangster’s tommy gun, the AA-12 is able to release a barrage of five 12-gauge shotgun shells per second while remaining so reliable and giving off so little recoil that a really strong person could theoretically fire it with one hand.

This weapon has actually been in the making since 1972 when Maxwell Atchinson first came out with the design. One of the biggest changes since then has been changing it from blowback to gas-operated with a locked breech, leaving only 10% of the recoil of a  normal 12-gauge round.

Another interesting detail is its self-cleaning aerospace-grade stainless steel body that lubricates itself with the carbon left behind by the shells’ detonations. Unlike other shotguns, the AA-12 has been built from the beginning to thrive in combat conditions.

You get two options when it comes to ammo load: an 8 round box magazine or a 20-round drum. Since it can empty the drum out in 4 seconds, I don’t see why an 8 round mag would even be considered.

Scariest picnic spread ever.

It’s common knowledge that there are specialized types of ammunition for whatever the situation may call for. The FRAG-12′s birth couldn’t have come at a more coincidental time. It’s standard 12-gauge cartridge case actually contains a tiny warhead that’s activated 3 meters out of the muzzle. Not only that, stabilizing fins pop out to spin the shell and give it an effective range up to 175 meters, completely unheard of in shotgun territory. It also comes in three different flavors: high explosive (HE), HE-fragmenting anti personnel, and HE-armor piercing.

The Mini-missile.

Plans are already being made to equip troops with the weapon, along with robot mini-gunships and trucks.

At least you know when the zombies come, you won't have anything to be afraid of.

You just know the President’s Secret Service mobile convoy will be packing these babies.

If you want to see it in action..

This honestly has to be the world’s best golf hole. Called the Xtreme 19th, you tee off from a mountain 630 yards away and 1,400 feet above the hole which is nestled in a green shaped like the continent of Africa.

It takes nearly 30 seconds for the ball to drop to the hole, which is actually quite short compared to the helicoptor ride you need to get to the tee-off. It costs $220 to play all 19 holes, but it does include the helicoptor ride, lots of souvenirs, and a DVD of your shot. If you somehow do land a hole-in-one, you also recieve a $1 million cash prize. Better start brushing up on your golfing skills!
